Day 1 Monday 4th October UK - ISRAEL
Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Meeting and assistance by a Diesenhaus Unitours representative. Transfer to the King Soloman Hotel in Netanya. 


Day 2 Tuesday 5th October CAESAREA-MEGIDDO-NAZARETH-TIBERIAS
Depart hotel and drive to CAESAREA where Paul was imprisoned and tried, and where he converted Cornelius. Continue to NAZARETH, where Jesus spent his early years and visit Mary's Well and the Church of the Annunciation. . Continue to the village of Cana, the site of Jesus' first miracle. Overnight at the Leonardo Hotel - Tiberias.


Day 3 Wednesday 6th OctoberTIBERIAS-CAPERNAUM-TABGHA-TIBERIAS
Drive to Nof Ginossar; visit the ancient first century fishing boat. Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee to CAPERNAUM, centre of Jesus' Ministry. Located here are the ruins of an ancient synagogue and the site of Peter's house. Proceed to TABGHA, the site of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fish and see the fish mosaic from the 5th century Byzantine basilica. Drive to the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the “Sermon on the Mount”. Take some time for personal meditation. Overnight at the Leonardo Hotel - Tiberias.


Day 4 Thursday 7th October YARDENIT-MT. TABOR-JERICHO-BETHANY-JERUSALEM
Depart TIBERIAS. Drive to YARDENIT on the shores of the Jordan River and renew Baptismal promises. Visit MT. TABOR site of the Transfiguration. Drive through the Jordan Valley to JERICHO, the oldest and lowest inhabited city in the world. On the way to Jerusalem, drive to Bethany the home of Mary Martha and Lazarus. We ascend the Judean Hills to reach Jerusalem the city of peace. Overnight at the Olive Tree Hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 5 Friday 8th October JERUSALEM
Tour the NEW CITY OF JERUSALEM beginning with the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed as well as at the Holy Land model to see the scale model of ancient Jerusalem in the time of the Second Temple. Continue to the Yad Vashem Memorial to the Holocaust and This afternoon drive to Manger Square in BETHLEHEM* visit the Church of the Nativity, the milk grotto and the Shepherds Fields


Day 6 Saturday 9th October JERUSALEM
Begin the day's tour on the Mount of Olives for a breathtaking view of the entire city. Walk down the traditional Palm Sunday route to the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane. Continue by foot in the Walled City. In the Jewish Quarter see the Cardo and Western Wall. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount. In the Christian Quarter visit St. Ann's Crusader Church, Ecce Homo (Lithostrotos), Antonia Fortress Via Doloroasa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Day 7 Sunday 10th October JERUSALEM-MASADA-JERUSALEM
Depart Drive via the Kidron Valley to Mt. Zion, visit the room of the last supper, the beautiful Abbey of the Dormition and the church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. We depart Jerusalem and drive through the Judean Wilderness to the Dead Sea. We visit QUMRAN where the Essene community wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls. Onwards to MASADA. Before returning to Jerusalem, if time and weather permit, enjoy a swim or “float” in the unique waters of the DEAD SEA. 


Day 8 Monday 11th October ISRAEL - UK
Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight.
