DAY 1
Departure from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem to the border crossing. After
completing border procedures continue to the Christian village of
Madaba to see the ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land and. Drive to
Mt. Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. From here you can
see the Jordan Valley, Jericho and the Judean hills. Also see the
ruins of a Byzantine church with mosaic floors. O/N
AMMAN
DAY 2
After breakfast, an early pick up from the hotel in Amman. Travel down
the desert road to Wadi Mousa, outside the "Red Rose City" of Petra,
which was inhabited by the Nabateans from 300 B.C. Take a horse ride
through the dramatic "Ciq" (Canyon). See the Treasury, carved in pink
stone, and continue past the Roman Theatre, the Corinthian tomb and
the Palace tomb to the Roman road. 0/N
AMMAN
DAY 3
Breakfast and departure to the border crossing and return to
Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
